Ainsworth’s ability to swing the ball and deliver in the powerplay was key to her success, taking 12 wickets at an impressive average of 18.58, with an economy rate of just 5.86 in 10 matches. Her knack for delivering breakthroughs at crucial junctures made her an integral part of the Scorchers' campaign.

Beyond domestic cricket, her performances earned her a place in the Australian U19 team, which reached the semi-finals of the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup in Malaysia.

Upon accepting the award, Ainsworth expressed her surprise and gratitude:
"I was pretty surprised to be given this award as there is so much amazing young talent in Australian cricket, it’s pretty cool to get it."

With her consistent performances and rising trajectory, Ainsworth is on track to become a future star in Australian cricket.

Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year – Sam Konstas

A name that has already started making waves in international cricket, Sam Konstas, at just 19, enjoyed a breakthrough year that culminated in his Test debut against India on Boxing Day at the MCG.

Konstas became Australia’s fourth-youngest Test debutant, and he immediately made an impact by scoring 60 off 65 balls in front of a packed home crowd.

His remarkable Sheffield Shield season was the catalyst for his national selection, as he amassed 471 runs at an outstanding average of 58.87 in just five matches. His twin centuries against South Australia made him the youngest player since Ricky Ponting to achieve this feat.

Konstas also displayed his versatility in T20 cricket, scoring two half-centuries for the Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League, showcasing his ability to score across all formats.

On winning the Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year, Konstas reflected on his journey:
"To even be considered is a huge honor, just grateful for the opportunities that I had. The pinnacle of my season was the Boxing Day Test and playing with and against the players that I idolized as a kid."

With a natural ability to score runs under pressure, Konstas is a player to watch out for in the coming years.

Women’s Domestic Player of the Year – Georgia Voll

At just 21 years old, Georgia Voll has already cemented her place as a top-order batter in Australia’s white-ball setup. Voll’s dominant performances for Queensland and Sydney Thunder showcased her ability to perform on the big stage.

She made an immediate impact on the international stage, scoring 173 runs in her debut ODI series against India, including a breathtaking 101 off 87 balls.

Her WBBL season was equally impressive, as she scored 310 runs at a blistering strike rate of 147.62 and was named in the WBBL Team of the Tournament.

On accepting the award, Webster said:
"It’s a proud moment being a peer-voted award, so it's nice to get the votes from the boys around the country. The more you play, the more you learn, and I’ve played 90+ First Class games which has held me in good stead."
