Afghanistan Cricket on Tuesday announced its squads for the three Twenty20 matches on their tour of Zimbabwe. They will arrive in Zimbabwe later this week. The ODI series will begin on June 5, with the T20I series starting on June 11. The Harare Sports Club in Zimbabwe will host all six matches.
Afghanistan has dropped all-rounder Gulbadin Naib in favour of left-arm spinner Zia ur Rahman Akbar. In February and March, he took three wickets in two games for Afghanistan against Bangladesh. Zia, who took 14 wickets at an average of 12 in the domestic One-Day Cup, was his replacement.
