The schedule for the Men's ODI Asia Cup 2023 was released by the Asian Cricket Council and Pakistan Cricket Board today. From August 30 to September 17, a 50-over tournament will be played, with Sri Lanka hosting nine matches and Pakistan hosting four.
The 13-match competition will take place at four locations. On August 30, Pakistan will play host to the tournament's opening encounter between Pakistan and Nepal before the action moves to Lahore for the final three games. Sri Lanka will play its three first-round games at Kandy, and its five Super-4 stage games and final on September 17 will be played in Colombo.
India's first tournament encounter will be against Pakistan in Kandy on September 2, while Sri Lanka will begin their campaign against Bangladesh on August 31. If both Pakistan and India advance to the Super-4 round, they would face off once more on September 10 in Colombo.
The Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host all three of Pakistan's remaining games after Multan hosted the tournament's opening encounter. Prior to Afghanistan's match against Sri Lanka on September 5, they will square off against one another on September 3. Pakistan will play Bangladesh in both teams' inaugural Super-4 encounter on September 6 if all goes according to the pre-event seeding.

Group B – Sri Lanka (B1), Bangladesh (B2) and Afghanistan (Afghanistan will take position of the side, which fails to progress to the Super-4 stage)
