India’s squad for 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022

The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) has announced the Indian men’s and women's squads picked by the Selection Committee for the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, which is going to be held in Hangzhou in September later this year. The tournament is going to be played in the T20 format.

Team India (Senior Women): Harmanpreet Kaur (Captain), Smriti Mandhana (Vice Captain), Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, Richa Ghosh (wk), Amanjot Kaur, Devika Vaidya, Anjali Sarvani, Titas Sadhu, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Minnu Mani, Kanika Ahuja, Uma Chetry (wk), Anusha Bareddy

Standby list of players: Harleen Deol, Kashvee Gautam, Sneh Rana, Saika Ishaque, Pooja Vastrakar

The top performers of the recently concluded IPL have been duly rewarded for their performance. Ruturaj Gaikwad has been named as the captain for this series. Some notable inclusions into the squad include the likes of Rinku Singh, Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube and the in-form Yashasvi Jaiswal. India have also named a strong bunch of standby players.
