Australian pacer Spencer Johnson will miss the England and Scotland tour.

The left-armer Spencer Johnson will not play in Australia's Twenty20 series against England or Scotland due to a side strain.

A side strain has forced left-armer Spencer Johnson to miss Australia's Twenty20 series against England and Scotland. Johnson was injured while competing for the Oval Invincibles in The Hundred competition last summer. Johnson amassed six wickets in five matches for Australia.

The 28-year-old will not play next month; instead, Australian medical personnel have verified that he will return home to recover from the ailment before the home summer. The South Australian, who entered the scene later in life, is frustrated by Johnson's injuries at this trying moment.

After playing in the Australia one-day international squad, Sean Abbott has now been added to the T20 squad.

Sean Abbott, a bowling all-arounder who appears in The Hundred as well, will replace Johnson. Abbott, who was only supposed to play in the ODI portion of the tour, has participated in 15 T20Is and taken 15 wickets at an average of 26.60.

Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc, who were rested for the three-match T20 series against England and Scotland, will already be absent for Australia.
