The IPL 2025 player auction is planned to take place on November 24 and 25 at the Abady Al Johar Arena in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and the Delhi Capitals, who are co-owned by JSW and GMR, are prepared to field a formidable team.
On the eve of the huge auction, Hemang Badani, the recently hired head coach of the Delhi Capitals, gave a glimpse into his coaching philosophy and his ultimate objective for the squad.
Badani said, "I truly believe that good decisions will be made and that good things could happen for DC in the years to come. I've earned my stripes to be here."
"There will be a lot more planning and a coach working in the background who is very quiet. I would rather let my art speak for itself. The only reason I've had some success in T20 cricket is that I sincerely think I'm passionate about coaching and that I can have an influence," he continued.
The player for India stated, "Winning has always been my ultimate goal."
The main reason for this is that I didn't leave a legacy throughout my playing days. As a coach, I aim to make a lasting impression. "I'll try my hardest to win the title for DC," he said in closing.
Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Tristan Stubbs, and Abishek Porel are the four players the Delhi Capitals have kept before the auction. With two Right-To-Match cards and a remaining purse of ₹73 crore, they enter the big auction.
