Dinesh Karthik announced as League Ambassador | BETWAY SA20

The top T20 league in South Africa, Betway SA20, is pleased to have Dinesh Karthik as an ambassador.

Being a former Indian national player and World Cup winner, Karthik brings a wealth of cricketing experience to the League, which is rapidly becoming recognized as one of the best franchise leagues in the world.

The 39-year-old former India international has played in the Indian Premier League since its launch in 2008, thus he has extensive expertise of franchise T20 cricket.

Over the course of his 16-year IPL career, he has represented six teams. Karthik has scored 4,842 runs with a strike rate of 135.66 and an average of 26.32 during this time. Along with making 37 stumpings, he has also taken 145 catches behind the wicket.

By incorporating an explosive aspect into his game in the later phases of his career, Karthik has also transformed into one of the top finishers in the shortest format.
