Each team will play nine league matches, ensuring a competitive and high-intensity tournament that will test the skills of UAE’s emerging cricket stars.
The matches will be live-streamed on YouTube and Facebook, offering fans the chance to follow the action as the next generation of UAE cricketers showcase their talent.
DP World ILT20’s Commitment to UAE Cricket

“It is DP World ILT20’s endeavor to support and nurture local talent in UAE. With 220 players turning up for the Ramadan Cricket Tournament, it’s a great opportunity to see and encourage emerging talent. We stay true to our commitment of developing cricket at the grassroots, and I wish all the players the very best.”
The sponsorship of this tournament is another step in DP World ILT20’s ongoing mission to elevate UAE cricket. The league, which has gained international recognition, is not just about showcasing global talent but also about creating opportunities for local players to develop and compete at higher levels.
The Growth of Domestic Cricket in UAE
The UAE has seen significant growth in cricket participation, with more young players aspiring to represent the national team and participate in elite competitions. The Ramadan Cricket Tournament provides these players with a platform to hone their skills, gain exposure, and compete against some of the best domestic talent.
With the tournament being held at ICC Academy Dubai, a premier cricketing facility, the players will experience top-class conditions, further enhancing their development. The support from DP World ILT20 ensures that these young cricketers get the recognition they deserve and a potential pathway to higher competitive levels.
Dubai Capitals’ Triumph in DP World ILT20 Season 3
The DP World ILT20 franchise Dubai Capitals recently clinched the ILT20 Season 3 title, further solidifying the league’s stature. Their victory highlights how UAE-based competitions can nurture talent and provide players with the experience needed to perform on bigger stages.
With the Ramadan Cricket Tournament now set to begin, local players have another opportunity to make an impact, potentially catching the eyes of scouts, franchises, and UAE selectors.
What’s Next for UAE Cricket
The UAE cricket scene is booming, with increasing investments, sponsorships, and grassroots initiatives paving the way for future stars. With the support of DP World ILT20, tournaments like the Ramadan Cricket Tournament can act as stepping stones for players aspiring to play for the national team or secure contracts in franchise leagues.
The continued growth of domestic cricket in UAE also strengthens the country’s position as a rising force in international cricket, with more opportunities for players to shine on a global stage.
