India D's Dominance:
- India D continued to assert their dominance on Day 2, thanks to a strong batting display. They had a good start with the top order laying a solid foundation. Shreyas Iyer played a pivotal role, scoring an elegant 110, while Ishan Kishan contributed with a quickfire 78.
- The duo's partnership was instrumental in building a commanding lead over India C. Shreyas Iyer’s composed innings provided stability, while Kishan’s aggressive batting kept the scoreboard ticking, putting India D in a very strong position.
India C’s Struggles:
- India C’s bowlers found it difficult to make inroads into the India D batting lineup. The bowlers lacked the penetration needed to dismantle a strong batting unit like India D. As a result, India D piled on the runs and took a substantial lead by the end of the day.
By stumps, India D was at 300/4, leading India C by a significant margin and setting themselves up for a potential victory on Day 3.
