The centerpiece of the 2025 program is the England Men's and Women's series versus India and the West Indies.
In the midst of summer, from June 20 to August 4, there will be a five-match Men's Rothesay Test series and a Women's Metro Bank One Day International and Vitality IT20 series versus India.
Prior to that, from May 21 to June 10, both teams will play a white-ball series against their West Indies equivalents.
For the first time since 2003, Zimbabwe will be back to Trent Bridge for a one-time Rothesay Test from May 22–25.
To wrap up the home international season, England Men will also host the Vitality IT20 white-ball series and the Metro Bank ODI against South Africa in September.
The public voting period for the England Men's and England Women's international matches will open at most venues on August 29. By registering at ecb.co.uk/tickets/priority, supporters may guarantee that they are the first to learn about the purchasing process and obtain priority access to tickets.
It was also confirmed that the inaugural Women's Test Match at Lord's would take place in 2026 between England Women and India.
In 2025, England Men and England Women will compete in two series together in an intriguing international cricket schedule that was revealed today.
On May 21, England Women will play West Indies Women in a Vitality IT20 match to kick off the international summer in Canterbury. The teams will play three Metro Bank One Day Internationals (ODIs) after two more IT20s in that series.
A few days later, on May 29, at Edgbaston, England Men and West Indies Men will play three matches in their ODI series. Immediately following is a three-match IT20 series. This comes after the historic Test match between England and Zimbabwe is over at Trent Bridge on May 22. This will be the first time Zimbabwe has played a Test match in England since 2003.
England's Men's and Women's series versus India will follow the West Indies series, and they will run concurrently. Three Metro Bank One Day Internationals and five Vitality IT20s for England Women will be sandwiched between a five-match Men's Rothesay Test series.
With the teams presently ranked two and three in the ICC global rankings, the Rothesay Men's Test series looks to be an exciting matchup. In the first summer under Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum's leadership, England won the series decider by seven wickets in 2022, but the series ended in a 2-2 tie. The Covid-19 pandemic had caused a one-year postponement of the match.
The England Men's Series will first off at Headingley on June 20 and proceed to Edgbaston, Lord's, and Emirates Old Trafford with subsequent matches. Early in August, The Kia Oval will host the season finale.
The England Women's series is also expected to be thrilling, given that the last time the two teams played in this nation in 2022, India won the ODI title and England won the IT20 series.
The Vitality IT20s at Trent Bridge, Bristol's Seat Unique Stadium, The Kia Oval, Emirates Old Trafford, and Edgbaston will open the England Women's series in 2019. These will be followed by three Metro Bank ODIs at Southampton's Utilita Bowl, Lord's, and the Seat Unique Riverside, Chester-le-Street.
After playing three Metro Bank ODIs and three Vitality IT20s against South Africa, England Men's home international summer will come to an end in early September. From September 17 to 21, the team will play three ODIs in Ireland.
Additionally, it has been confirmed that India Women will make a one-time visit to Lord's in 2026 for a Test match. This will be the first Women's Test ever held at the Home of Cricket. It will be the first time the facility has hosted a Women's Test match. England Women have played white-ball matches at Lord's for the past three years, with crowds of up to 21,610. Another match is planned for next year.
Priority group ticket sales will start on August 29 with a public ballot for the England Men's and England Women's international matches.
By registering at ecb.co.uk/tickets/priority, supporters may guarantee that they are the first to learn about the purchasing process and obtain priority access to tickets.
"Staging England Men's and England Women's series alongside each other has been popular with fans and supported the continued growth of the women's game, with both the Ashes last year and the Pakistan series earlier this year proving successful," ECB Chief Executive Officer Richard Gould stated. I can't wait to repeat this process for the India and West Indies series in the upcoming year. Fans of cricket are in for a great treat, and I hope a large number of them will go to cheer on the men's and women's teams.
India's tours are a major attraction and a summertime highlight for cricket fans every year. Our women's series are always quite tough, and the men's Test series that concluded here last year was an absolute thriller. I'm sure the matchup the next year will be equally thrilling. I'm happy to announce that, in addition to the men's Test series this year, we will be inviting both West Indies teams back for a white-ball series.
After more than 20 years since their last visit, it will be momentous to welcome Zimbabwe back for a men's test match. This nation has a great affection for test cricket, and we understand that we must help developing test cricketing nations in order to ensure the long-term survival of this game format.
"I'm also happy to announce that the first-ever women's Test match at Lord's will feature India Women versus England Women in 2026. It's going to be an extremely meaningful and unique experience.
In due course, the English Disability Premier League, which is scheduled to take place in August and September, will confirm the series for the country's disability teams.
