England Test Men's Squad:

Gus Atkinson (Surrey)
Jordan Cox (Essex)
Ben Duckett (Nottinghamshire)
Joe Root (Yorkshire)
Shoaib Bashir (Somerset)
Harry Brook (Yorkshire)
Jamie Smith (Surrey)
Dan Lawrence (Surrey)
Ollie Pope (Surrey)
Matthew Potts (Durham)
Olly Stone (Nottinghamshire)
Chris Woakes (Warwickshire)
Mark Wood (Durham)
Due to a fractured right little finger suffered during the third Test triumph over the West Indies, opening batter Zak Crawley will miss the series.
Seam bowler Dillon Pennington, who was part of the Test team that won the most recent series against the West Indies, will also be sidelined due to a hamstring injury he suffered during a match in The Hundred.
Jordan Cox, a middle-order hitter for Essex, has received his first call-up. The 23-year-old right-handed batsman, who joined Essex from Kent at the beginning of the season, has been in outstanding form. He has experience with the England setup, having gone on a tour to Pakistan in the fall of 2022 with the England white-ball team.
For the first time since June 2021, Nottinghamshire seamer Olly Stone is back in the Test team and will be hoping to add to his three Test caps.
The three-match test series between the Sri Lanka National Men's Team and England is scheduled to take place in August and September.
The ICC World Test Championship includes the trip.
