England has named 13-men squad for the first two Tests against New Zealand, which begins on 2nd June at Lord's. Veteran Pace duos Jimmy Anderson and Stuart broad recalled for the test side after being dropped for West Indies test. This mark the beginning of a "New English Era" under the newly appointed head coach Brendon McCullum and Skipper Ben Stokes. 

Uncapped Matthew Potts and Harry Brook have been called up for the first time, while Alex Lees, Craig Overton, and Jack Leach have been retained from the West Indies series.

  •  Dan Lawrence, Chris Woakes, Jofra Archer, Sam Curran, Mark Wood, Matthew Fisher, Olly Stone, Ollie Robinson and Saqib Mahmood unavailable for the selection and ruled out by injury.

 

  • Rory Burns, Dom Sibley, Haseeb Hameed and Dawid Malan was dropped from test side

Earlier Ben Stokes confirmed that Former Skipper Joe Root will play at No.4 in test, possibly Ollie Pope might bat at No.3 position which he has never played before in First-Class cricket.
