Ollie Robinson returns to test for South Africa series. Jamie Overton dropped.

The England's selection panel has named a 14-man squad for the first and second LV= Insurance Test against South Africa, which kick off on August 17 at Lord's.

Fast bowler Ollie Robinson has rejoined to the England team for the first two Tests against South Africa. Robinson resumed to the County Championship last week after missing England's West Indies tour earlier this year owing to a back injury.

England Test Squad (1st & 2nd Test): Ben Stokes (Captain), Alex Lees, Zak Crawley, Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Ben Foakes (wk), Ollie Pope, Stuart Broad, James Anderson, Ollie Robinson, Matthew Potts, Craig Overton, Harry Brook, Jack Leach.

ECB Men’s Performance Director, Mo Bobat said that

After an excellent start to the summer under Brendon McCullum and Ben Stokes, we’re looking forward to an exciting Test series against a strong South Africa side.”

The selectors have picked a squad for the first two Tests at Lord’s and Emirates Old Trafford with continuity in mind.

It’s good to get Ollie Robinson back in the mix after his recent injury. He will continue his progress by playing for the Lions against South Africa in a four-day match at Canterbury next week,

2nd Test ENG vs RSA 25-29 Aug Old Trafford, Manchester
