Captain Ashleigh Gardner, accompanied by Kashvee Gautam, Phoebe Litchfield, and Deandra Dottin, engaged in an interactive session with the Maharani, who reaffirmed her support for women’s cricket and its rising influence in India.

Maharani Radhikaraje, a strong advocate for women’s empowerment, shared her thoughts on Vadodara’s rich cricketing legacy and her ongoing initiatives to support women in sports and beyond.

In a symbolic exchange of support, captain Ashleigh Gardner presented a special Gujarat Giants jersey to Maharani Radhikaraje, who, in turn, extended her best wishes to the team ahead of the new WPL season.

A Visit to Gazra Café: Supporting Women & the LGBTQ+ Community

The players, along with Bowling Coach Pravin Tambe and Adani Sportsline’s Chief Business Officer Sanjay Adesara, also visited Gazra Café, a unique initiative by Shri Maharani Chimnabai Stree Udyogalaya (MCSU).

MCSU, founded in 1914, focuses on empowering women through education, vocational training, and skill development. The café is also run by members of the LGBTQ+ community, reflecting its commitment to inclusivity and social change.

The interaction provided GG players with deeper insights into the impactful work being done to uplift women and marginalized communities in Vadodara.

Gujarat Giants Ready for WPL 2025 Home Debut

GG will play their first home game at Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara, on February 14 against RCB.

They will also face MI (Feb 18) and DC (March 7) in front of their home fans.
