Jos Buttler, the captain of England's men's white-ball team, will not play in the Metro Bank ODI Series against Australia because he is still recovering from a right calf injury. In Buttler's absence, Yorkshire right-hand batsman Harry Brook will lead the ODI team for the first time.
Josh Hull of Leicestershire is also out for the series due to a quad injury. Liam Livingstone, an all-rounder from Lancashire, has been added to the team for the five-match series, which kicks off on Thursday, September 19 at Trent Bridge.
