HBL PSL X Trophy Tour Announced: ‘Luminara’ Set to Travel Across Pakistan
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled the first-ever trophy tour in the history of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL), marking a significant milestone for the country’s premier T20 competition. The prestigious HBL PSL X trophy, officially named ‘The Luminara Trophy,’ will journey through 11 cities, allowing fans across Pakistan to witness the coveted silverware up close.
The trophy tour kicks off on March 14, 2025, from Hyderabad and Karachi, before making its way to various cities, culminating on March 29. This unique initiative not only celebrates the 10th edition of the league but also reinforces the PSL’s deep connection with fans across the country.
A Grand Celebration of Pakistan’s Cricketing Passion
With the 10th edition of HBL PSL set to take place from April 11 to May 18 in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi, the trophy tour is designed to heighten anticipation and bring the spirit of the tournament to every corner of Pakistan. PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer emphasized the significance of this tour, stating:
“The HBL PSL trophy tour is a celebration of Pakistan’s rich culture, its diverse communities, and most importantly, its deep-rooted passion for cricket. The tour aims to increase the physical reach of the HBL PSL throughout the country, engaging fans in a way never seen before.”
This initiative reflects the league’s commitment to fostering an inclusive cricketing environment, ensuring that PSL fever is not just limited to the four host cities but extends to all corners of the nation.
First Leg of the Trophy Tour: Cities and Dates
The Luminara Trophy will first be displayed across key locations in Hyderabad and Karachi before moving on to other cities. The schedule for the first phase of the tour is as follows:
March 14 – Hyderabad
March 14-15 – Karachi
March 16-17 – Lahore
March 18 – Multan
March 19 – Bahawalpur
March 20 – Faisalabad
March 22 – Peshawar
March 23 – Islamabad
Following this leg, the PCB will announce the details of the second phase of the trophy tour, with expectations that it will include further engagements and fan interactions.
