The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the India Under-19 squad for the upcoming tour of England, scheduled from June 24 to July 23, 2025. The tour comprises a 50-over warm-up match, followed by a five-match Youth One-Day series and two multi-day matches against England U19. Seventeen-year-old Mumbai opener Ayush Mhatre has been appointed as the team captain. A notable inclusion in the squad is 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is among the youngest players selected.

Ayush Mhatre: Leading the Charge
Ayush Mhatre, the 17-year-old Mumbai opener, has been making waves in domestic cricket. Vaibhav Suryavanshi: A Young Prodigy
At just 14 years old, Vaibhav Suryavanshi from Bihar has already achieved remarkable feats in cricket. He made his first-class debut for Bihar against Mumbai at the age of 12 years and 284 days, becoming one of the youngest players in the Ranji Trophy. In the 2024-25 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he became the youngest player to debut in T20 cricket at 13 years and 241 days. Suryavanshi's inclusion in the U19 squad underscores his exceptional talent and potential.
