India vs Bangladesh 3rd T20 highlights | Sanju Samson Century

In a record-breaking night, India posted their highest-ever T20I total of 297/6, powered by a spectacular 111 from Sanju Samson and strong contributions from Suryakumar Yadav (75) and Hardik Pandya (47 off 18). Samson's century, his first in T20Is, came off just 47 balls, laced with 11 fours and 8 sixes. The partnership between Samson and Suryakumar yielded 153 runs off just 55 balls, propelling India towards an insurmountable total.

India put up a record-breaking batting performance in the 3rd T20I against Bangladesh, setting their highest-ever T20I total of 297/6. The foundation of this monumental score was built on explosive batting by Sanju Samson, who scored a blistering 111 off 47 balls, and Suryakumar Yadav, who contributed a quickfire 75 off 35 deliveries.

The Indian innings got off to a shaky start with Abhishek Sharma falling early to Tanzim Hasan Sakib for just 4 runs. However, Samson, coming in at No. 3, quickly changed the momentum. He and Suryakumar Yadav stitched a 153-run partnership in just 55 balls, with Samson reaching his maiden T20I century in grand style. During this partnership, both batsmen took on the Bangladeshi bowlers, hitting them to all parts of the ground. Suryakumar Yadav reached his fifty with a classy display, while Samson punished the bowlers with a flurry of sixes and boundaries.

The middle overs were dominated by India, as Samson went on a six-hitting spree, smashing sixes off Rishad Hossain and Mustafizur Rahman. His six sixes in one over from Rishad brought the crowd to its feet, exemplifying the carnage he inflicted. Riyan Parag also played a significant cameo, scoring 34 off 13 balls, with four sixes, propelling India past 250.

Hardik Pandya provided the final flourish, hammering 47 off just 18 deliveries. Though he fell just short of a half-century, his late hitting, including four sixes and four boundaries, ensured India reached a massive total. Pandya's dismissal, along with that of Nitish Reddy for a duck, did little to stop the onslaught as Rinku Singh finished the innings with a six, taking India to 297/6.

For Bangladesh, Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Taskin Ahmed were the most successful bowlers, each picking up two wickets, but their efforts were overshadowed by the onslaught from the Indian batsmen. The Bangladeshi bowlers struggled to contain the aggressive Indian lineup, with even their most experienced bowlers, like Mustafizur, conceding over 50 runs in their spells.

India’s total of 297/6 will go down as their highest-ever in T20I cricket, marking a memorable batting display under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav and the exceptional performance by Sanju Samson.
