Misbah-ul-Haq will serve as Wolves' Champions Cup mentor.
Former Pakistan captain and all-format coach says of the position, "This role not only allows me to share my experience and knowledge to help them refine their skills, but it also gives me a chance to complete some unfinished business from 2019 and bring my vision to life."

Misbah-ul-Haq, a former captain of Pakistan and head coach for all formats, has been confirmed to coach the Wolves team in the Champions One-Day Cup, which takes place in Faisalabad from September 12–29 of next month. The Stallions side's mentor, Shoaib Malik, was announced on Thursday. The identities of the teams for the other three mentors, Saqlain Mushtaq, Sarfaraz Ahmed, and Waqar Younis, will be revealed in the next few days.
Misbah's team has been assigned to Faisalabad Cricket Academy to get ready for the events during the forthcoming season, while Shoaib Malik's Stallions have been assigned to Sialkot Cricket Academy for training and practice during the 2024–25 domestic cricket season.
One-day cricketers from 150 different countries will compete in the Champions One-Day Cup. A single-league structure will be used for this 50-over competition. All games except the Lions vs. Panthers game on September 16, which gets underway at 9.30 a.m., start at 3 p.m. Four days of playoffs will culminate in a final on Sunday, September 29.
On September 12, Misbah-ul-Haq's Wolves will play the Panthers. On September 15, the Dolphins, on September 17, and the Lions, on September 20, will be the next opponents.
Pakistan's most successful Test captain, Misbah ul Haq, led his team to victories in 26 of the 56 Tests, including propelling Pakistan to the top of the ICC Test Team Rankings in August 2016. In 2014, he equaled the world record for the fastest Test century with a 56-ball century against Australia in Abu Dhabi; he participated in two 50-over World Cups, three T20 World Cups, and three ICC Champions Trophy events; he was part of the team that played in the 2007 ICC T20 World Cup final and won the competition two years later at Lord's; he was one of the five Wisden Cricketers of the Year for 2017

The top players in the nation will square off in an intense competition where every match counts in the Champions One-Day Cup. This competition promises to provide fans in Faisalabad with top-notch cricket and motivate our players to give their best efforts. It also gives the PCB a stage on which to promote and enhance this premier event.
