Adani Womens Delhi Premier League T20 | North Delhi Strikers Women qualify for Final after seven wicket DLS win over East Delhi Riders Women

After defeating East Delhi Riders Women by seven wickets using the DLS technique in Saturday's last league stage encounter at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, North Delhi Strikers Women have advanced to the Adani Women's Delhi Premier League T20 last.

On Sunday, South Delhi Superstarz Women will play North Delhi Strikers Women in the championship match.

East Delhi Riders Women chose to bat first and finished their 20 overs with a total of 150/2. Upasana Yadav's 65 off 44 balls helped North Delhi Strikers Women easily chase down the DLS-adjusted score in response.  

Mansi Sharma and Upasana Yadav got the run chase underway quickly. In the fourth over, they were 26/0. Just before play was momentarily stopped by rain, Sharma (10 off 10) was removed on the fifth ball of the same over. The DLS approach was then used to adjust the target to 113 in 14 overs.

After the interval, North Delhi Strikers seemed more confident as they reached 50 runs in the sixth over.

While Yadav reached her fifty in 33 balls in the ninth over, needing 38 runs off 30 balls, Nazma Sultana was out for 6 off 10.

After that, Yadav and Ayushi Soni worked together to down the equation to 10 required off the final two overs. Yadav did, however, conclude her incredible 65 off 44 balls innings when she was removed by Priya Mishra in the 13th over.

Then, with two balls remaining, Soni and Monika made sure they reached the target, advancing their team to the Adani Women's Delhi Premier League T20 Final.

Priya Punia and Pratika Rawal gave East Delhi Riders Women a solid start earlier in the day. By the end of the Powerplay, they had scored forty-five runs.

Although Rawal reached her half-century in 33 balls, she was out in the 12th over. Punia, her companion, worked with Pragya Rawat to keep the scoreboard running.

In the 17th over, Punia reached her fifty, and Rawat, who had made 21 off 20 balls, was out of the game in the next over. With Punia hitting an undefeated 63 off 59 deliveries, East Delhi Riders Women were able to reach 150/2 in the 20 overs allocated.
