The Bahria Town Champions T20 Cup will take place in the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from December 7–25, according to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The ABL Stallions, Engro Dolphins, Lake City Panthers, Nurpur Lions, and UMT Markhors are the five clubs that will vie for the coveted championship.
For the Champions T20 Cup, which will be held in Rawalpindi from December 7 to 25, the five mentors have revealed their preliminary teams.
The coaches have left out centrally contracted players and other white-ball cricketers currently in Zimbabwe for the ODI and T20I series because the Pakistan men's white-ball and red-ball squads for the South Africa tour have not yet been announced.
Before sending the final lists to the Pakistan Cricket Board, the mentors will review and make changes to their provisional squads when the national selection committee finalizes the teams for the South Africa tour and player availability is known.

After the 50-over competition in Faisalabad in September was a huge success, this is the second event in the Champions Cup series. In that case, the UMT Markhors had lost a fiercely contested final to the Lake City Panthers. The 14-match spectacular, which included some of the best talent in the nation, drew large crowds of cricket enthusiasts to the Iqbal Stadium.
The PCB has carefully planned the Champions T20 Cup at the conveniently located Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, which will include 22 matches over 19 days, including six doubleheaders and eight single-headers, in order to capitalize on this momentum. Single-header games are scheduled for 12pm, while double-header bouts will start at 11am and 3.30pm.
To make the competition more intense, a new, ruthless format has been added. The best team from the double-league stage will go straight to the final, and the teams in second and third place will play a qualifier on December 23 at 3.30 p.m. The final will take place on December 25 at 3:30 p.m.
Weather and spectator engagement are taken into consideration when designing the tournament schedule, which was developed in collaboration with team mentors. Additionally, it enables supporters to watch Pakistan's men's cricket team as they play in South Africa from December 10–22 in the T20I and ODI series.
With eight games assured for each team, they have plenty of time to hone their tactics and lineups.
Additionally, the tournament structure will provide a stage for up-and-coming talent to demonstrate their abilities, giving selectors important information about players who might be developed for the national squad. Additionally, as the HBL Pakistan Super League teams get ready for the 2025 season and beyond, exceptional players can catch their eye.
The PCB has delayed the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy final round matches to provide all domestic players a chance to participate in the eagerly anticipated Champions T20 Cup. Lahore Whites and Sialkot will now play their last triangular stage match from December 27–31, with the five-day final scheduled for January 2–6. The locations of these games will be revealed when the time comes.
ABL Stallions vs. Lake City Panthers and Nurpur Lions vs. UMT Markhors are the two thrilling doubleheaders that will open the Bahria Town Champions T20 Cup on December 7. The dates of the first round's matches are December 7–13, and the dates of the second round are December 15–21.
The PCB will assist the five team mentors in putting together their squads in Rawalpindi starting on November 28 in order to guarantee the best possible preparation. Warm-up matches will also take place during practice sessions at the National Ground, KRL Stadium, and Diamond Cricket Ground.
