SCOTLAND SQUAD ANNOUNCED FOR THE T20 SERIES AUS

The team for Scotland's upcoming Twenty20 international series against Australia has been announced.

There are fifteen players available for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup this summer.

to participate in the series and will be accompanied by newly acquired caps Charlie Cassell and

Jasper Davidson in a squad of seventeen players.

Three Twenty20 internationals between Australia and Scotland are scheduled for September 4, 6, and 7.

Three months will pass before the teams square off in Edinburgh following Australia's exciting 5 wicket victory in their encounter against St Lucia during the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

Head coach of the Scotland men's team Doug Watson expressed his excitement. Playing one of the top teams in the world is an amazing chance, and I have a good feeling that our guys won't require much inspiration going into this series.

They get a fantastic opportunity to play with elite athletes on the pitch. They want to compete, put on some incredible shows, and really challenge this Australian team.

"It will be fantastic for Jasper and Charlie to have the experience of what it's like to play against the best, in front of a fairly large crowd, after joining the squad at CWCL2 and doing so well."The fact that the men are genuinely vying for spots, in my opinion, is crucial. Not to be forgotten is Oli Hairs, who did not participate in the World Cup but scored an incredible 255 for Scotland "A" versus Oman. He hit the ball so beautifully throughout that incredible inning, and it was wonderful to watch him perform at his peak. 

"We want to win this series as our objective. The opening game is crucial since a victory will set up the next two games. Scotland as a whole, the squad, staff, and supporters will have an amazing week.
