The three ICC World Test Championship matches between Pakistan and England from October 7–28 have been rescheduled, according to a statement released by the Pakistan Cricket Board today.
Originally scheduled to take place from October 15–19 at Karachi's National Bank Stadium, the second Test will now take place at Multan Cricket Stadium. The final two Test matches, which are scheduled for October 7–11 in Multan and October 24–28 in Rawalpindi, will take place exactly as scheduled.
The National Bank Stadium is undergoing substantial renovations in preparation for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, which will also be held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. As a result, the match has been moved from Karachi to Multan.
On October 2, the men's cricket teams from Pakistan and England will both arrive in Multan for their respective matches.
Usman Wahla, International PCB Director:
"PCB is ecstatic to have the England men's cricket team visit Pakistan once more.
"We remain dedicated to providing fans with support and making this a tour to remember, even with small changes." We anticipate a highly competitive Test series and a chance to highlight Pakistan's legendary friendliness.
Updated timetable:
October 7–11: First Test, Multan
October 15–19: Second Test, Multan
Third Test, Rawalpindi, Oct. 24-28
