Three T20Is between South Africa and Pakistan will be played before the World Cup.

28 August 2024, Lahore:

The women's cricket teams from Pakistan and South Africa will play three matches at the Multan Cricket Stadium to prepare for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 in the UAE, which takes place next month.

Matches are set for September 16, 18, and 20. The South African team is expected to arrive in Multan on September 13. The matches scheduled for September 16 and 18 will kick off at 7 p.m., while the match scheduled for September 20 will kick off at 10 a.m., in order to guarantee that all three games be shown live and promote women's cricket.

Following the series, Pakistan will travel on September 23 while South Africa will depart on September 21 for the United Arab Emirates. In the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024, South Africa is placed with Bangladesh, England, Scotland, and the West Indies, while Pakistan is alongside Australia, India, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka in Group A.

Pakistan's schedule for October includes matches against India on October 6, Australia on October 11, and New Zealand on October 14. The warm-up matches against Scotland and Bangladesh on September 28 and 30, respectively, will be followed by Pakistan's encounter against Sri Lanka on October 3 in Sharjah.

Sunday, September 1st, at the Multan Cricket Stadium will mark the start of the Pakistan women's training camp, which aims to prepare them for the home series and the ICC Women's T20 World Cup next month.
