The West Indies Senior Men's ODI team for the upcoming One-Day International (ODI) tours of the Netherlands and Pakistan was released today by the Cricket West Indies (CWI) Selection Panel. The West Indies will play three one-day internationals in the Netherlands on May 31, June 2 and 4, followed by three more in Pakistan on June 8, 10 and 12.

The VRA Cricket Ground in Amstelveen will host the first-ever ODI Series between West Indies and Netherlands. The matches in Pakistan will be held at Rawalpindi's Pindi Stadium. Both series are part of the ICC One-Day International Super League, in which countries compete for one of the top seven spots, excluding hosts India, to obtain automatic qualification for the 2023 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup.

Fast bowlers Jayden Seales and Shermon Lewis, as well as specialist batsman Keacy Carty, have been called-up in the ODI team. Both Seales and Lewis have represented their countries in Test matches. Carty is the first St. Maarten player to be named to the West Indies Senior Men's squad.

Jason Holder, an all-rounder in all formats, is resting to manage his workload, while Shimron Hetmyer is also unavailable for selection due to the birth of his first child. After failing to fulfill CWI's fitness requirements, Evin Lewis was not considered for selection.

West Indies ODI Squad: Nicholas Pooran (Captain), Shai Hope (Vice Captain), Nkrumah Bonner, Shamarh Brooks, Kyle Mayers, Rovman Powell, Brandon King, Akeal Hosein, Alzarri Joseph, Shermon Lewis, Anderson Phillip, Jayden Seales, Romario Shepherd, Hayden Walsh Jr, Keacy Carty.
