Cricket West Indies (CWI) has announced critical adjustments to the T20I squad as they prepare for the final, decisive phase of the "Rivalry" series against England. The series, which shifts to Saint Lucia, will feature notable roster changes to bolster the team's performance.
Andre Russell, a veteran all-rounder, is ruled out due to a left ankle sprain suffered in the opening T20I at Kensington Oval, Barbados. Shamar Springer, who recently played two T20Is against Sri Lanka, will replace him, adding fresh energy to the squad.
Additionally, fast bowler Alzarri Joseph, available after completing a two-match suspension, will join the Saint Lucia leg, taking over for Shamar Joseph. CWI’s updated lineup reflects a blend of youth and experience as the team approaches this crucial stretch of the series.
