India defeat West Indies by 88 runs and won the series 4-1

India secured a comprehensive 88-run victory in the 5th T20I against West Indies, with all ten wickets falling to India's spin attack. They won the ODI series and then thrashed the hosts in the T20I series. Their buildup for the next T20 World Cup is going well, and they have successfully tested out a number of new players. India will now go to Zimbabwe for a three-match One-Day International series, while the West Indies will prepare to face New Zealand.

Shreyas Iyer and Deepak Hooda paved the way with their brilliant partnership and assisted India to a large total of 188. West Indies get off to a flying start, but they lost 3 wickets in the Powerplay and were never in the chase. Hetmyer look to be in good touch and lone warrior, hitting some massive sixes, but none of the other players seemed prepared to strike.Their choice to rest players like Brandon King and Kyle Mayers seems questionable. India has the luxury of doing so, but the West Indies do not have the same bench strength as they lost the 5-match series 3-1. But, West Indies are bowled out for 100, and this is the first occasion spinners have taken all ten wickets in a T20I. A dominant victory in Florida leads to a 4-1 series victory.

Earlier, after winning the toss India opted to bat. Hardik Pandya who captained tonight made 4 changes in the team. Windies also made 4 changes in the XI as they already lost the series 3-1. Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan opens for India. After Ishan departs early inside the powerplay Hooda join hands with Iyer. Shreyas Iyer hit a furious 40-ball 60, while Deepak Hooda contributed 38 runs off 25 balls as India reaches 122/3 in 13 overs. West Indies bowled brilliantly and take control, offering 66 runs in the remaining 7 overs and pick up 4 wickets. India finish with a competitive total of 188/7 in 20 Overs. Odean Smith finishes with the figures of 3/33.
