The team for the West Indies Senior Women's multi-format series tour to India in December 2024 has been announced by Cricket West Indies (CWI) today.

Three Twenty20 Internationals and three One-Day Internationals make up the visit, giving the team a great chance to play against one of cricket's top countries.

On December 15, the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai will host the Twenty20 International series. On December 22, the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium in Vadodara will host the One-Day International series. Important points for the ICC Women's Championship are at stake in this ODI section.

The West Indies Women, who are currently rated sixth in both T20Is and ODIs, will play third-ranked India in what could be an exciting series. Before India won the ODI series 3-0, the West Indies won the T20Is 3-0 in their most recent white-ball match in India in 2016.

The Maroon Warriors, who advanced to the semifinals of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in Dubai, will take on an Indian team that just defeated New Zealand, the defending ICC Women's T20 World Cup champions, 2-1 in an ODI series.

Under the direction of captain Hayley Matthews, the team features a well-rounded mix of seasoned veterans and up-and-coming talent. Stafanie Taylor will not be participating in this tour as she is currently recovering from an injury.
