When will the 5 times Champion side Mumbai Indians 'Defeat Marathon' come to an end ???

Mumbai Indians are in a miserable position in the ongoing IPL series. Team mi Has played in 6 matches and lost all those 6 matches in a row. Other team fans are also in a state of pity watching the Mumbai Indians team. What is lacking in the Mumbai Indians team. Is that team the weakest team to have lost 6 matches in a row???

The batting department of the Mumbai Indians has been a bit better considering the outcome of the last 6 matches. The bowling department is currently seen as the team's biggest weakness. Jaspreet Bumrah and Murugan Aswin are the only two players in the Mumbai Indians squad who have consistently bowled well with a better economy. Daniel sams, Basil Thampi and Tymal Mills have shown poor bowling in all the matches that they have played. They leaked more runs for the opponents.

If we look at the Mumbai Indians team once in the last few years, there will be 2 quality foreign fast bowlers in every match that the team plays. Both Mills and Sams played in the first four matches played by the Mumbai Indians. Honestly, I just have to say that this pair did not play so well.

Sams was dropped from the squad for failing to play well in the first four games. Similarly, the Mumbai Indians team management should have lifted Tymal Mills as well.  Australian fast bowler Riley Meredith is in the Mumbai squad for the tournament. The management might have given him a chance. Similarly, by dropping Basil Thampi, the management may have given a chance to young pace bowlers players like Arshad Khan or Hrithik Shokeen.

Mumbai Indians have bagged Ishan Kishan for Rs.15 crores 25 lakh in a mega auction. Ishan Kishan will definitely lend a hand to the future of the Mumbai Indians with his stellar batting. But the Mumbai Indians could not capture good quality fast bowlers due to the huge amount of money blindly spent on him. Similarly, the Mumbai Indians management has acquired Jofra Archer for Rs.8 crores. This was managed by the Mumbai Indians despite knowing that he would not be participating this year.  The Mumbai Indians' fast bowling attack will only pick up when Archer joins the squad and this is the fact of the matter.

As far as the T20 series is concerned, the players on the team have to become consistently better at all matches. Based on that, only Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav and Dewald Brevis played consistently. Mumbai Indians' destructive opening pair Rohit and Ishan have only played well in 2-3 matches. Mumbai Indians' show stealer Pollard is lacking in his finishing. Mumbai Indians have lost 6 off 14 matches. Now they must win the remaining 8 games in a row. The Mumbai Indians will qualify for the play-offs only if they accomplish it.

While this challenge is not a big deal for the five-time trophy-winning Mumbai Indians, the Mumbai Indians need to play a little more carefully in the upcoming matches. All the batsmen have to show their best version in the upcoming matches. Whereas the team management has to pay a lot of attention to the bowling department.  If these two are fixed, we can hope that the Mumbai Indians team will win the upcoming matches.

The Indian team is currently led by Rohit Sharma in all formats. His mind should not be tired by the series of defeats ongoing in the IPL series. Despite the historic defeat of the Mumbai Indians in this year's IPL series, Rohit should end it with the IPL series itself. The reflection of that defeat should not be followed up when he led the Indian team. He led India to a series of wins in ODIs and T20s earlier this year. The same Victory marathon is that we are expecting from his. Under his leadership, India is going to play two ICC events (ICC T20 World Cup later this year and ICC World Cup next year). Although the Mumbai team under his leadership has suffered a lot of setbacks in the current IPL series, he has to accumulate the experience gained in it.
