BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia confirmed that the upcoming BCCI Review Meeting will be entirely focused on performance analysis and course correction rather than discussing any administrative or personnel matters. The review is expected to take place after India's ODI series in England concludes on July 19.

India entered the United Kingdom tour as the reigning ICC Men's T20 World Cup champions after lifting the title on home soil earlier this year. However, back-to-back series defeats have raised concerns about the team's consistency, especially under newly appointed T20I captain Shreyas Iyer.

Speaking about the situation, Saikia emphasized that temporary setbacks are a natural part of international cricket. According to him, the recent losses should be viewed as a difficult phase rather than a long-term crisis.
