Hassan Khan delivered one of the most explosive cameos of the Major League Cricket 2026 season as the San Francisco Unicorns booked their place in the playoffs with a thrilling six-wicket victory over Seattle Orcas. Although the Orcas reached 190, they felt slightly short of an ideal total. Their bowling attack also missed the services of leading wicket-taker Ottneil Baartman, whose absence was evident during the death overs when Hassan Khan launched his unforgettable attack.

The victory confirmed San Francisco Unicorns as table-toppers heading into the MLC 2026 playoffs. Alongside them, Los Angeles Knight Riders, MI New York and Washington Freedom also secured qualification for the knockout stage.

For Seattle Orcas, the defeat marked a disappointing end to their campaign after showing promise throughout the season. Despite strong performances from Breetzke and Stoinis, they could not stop Hassan Khan from producing a match-winning innings that will be remembered as one of the standout knocks of MLC 2026.
