India Clinches Series with a 142-Run Win Over England
In a commanding display of batting and bowling, India crushed England by 142 runs in the third and final ODI at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, securing a series victory in emphatic fashion. Shubman Gill (112), Shreyas Iyer (78), and Virat Kohli (52) powered India to a massive 356, while the bowlers, led by Arshdeep Singh and Kuldeep Yadav, bundled out England for just 214.

After losing Rohit Sharma early, India’s top order took charge with Gill and Kohli stitching a crucial partnership. Gill’s blazing 112 off 102 balls was the highlight, featuring 14 fours and 3 sixes. Kohli played a steady knock of 52, but the real acceleration came from Shreyas Iyer, who hammered 78 off just 64 balls, propelling India past 350.
