Jason Holder delivered a captain's performance as Los Angeles Knight Riders (LAKR) secured a thrilling 11-run victory over San Francisco Unicorns in Major League Cricket (MLC) 2026. However, Jason Holder once again stepped up when his team needed him the most. He completed a superb catch to dismiss Hassan Khan before returning in the death overs to trap Hammad Azam leg before wicket after the batter threatened an incredible comeback with a quickfire 40 from just 19 balls.

Andre Russell then wrapped up the contest by dismissing Haris Rauf with the first ball of the final over, sealing an important win for the Knight Riders.

The bowling unit displayed remarkable composure under pressure. While Jason Holder finished with outstanding figures of 4 for 40, Russell supported him brilliantly with 3 for 42.
