Prince Yadav Debut Shines as India Restrict Ireland to 154 in 2nd T20I

India produced a disciplined bowling performance in the second T20I against Ireland as debutant Prince Yadav announced himself on the international stage with an impressive spell of 3 for 22, helping the visitors restrict the hosts to 154/8 at the Civil Service Cricket Club in Stormont, Belfast.

After suffering a historic defeat in the opening match of the series, India responded strongly with the ball to put themselves in a commanding position. Prince Yadav Makes Dream International Debut

Making his T20I debut, Prince Yadav displayed maturity beyond his years by executing his plans brilliantly under pressure.

The young pacer consistently hit hard lengths, mixed his pace cleverly, and delivered accurate yorkers in the death overs. His variations kept the Irish batters guessing and helped India wrestle back control after Ireland looked set to post a total close to 180.

Prince finished with outstanding figures of 3/22, dismissing captain Lorcan Tucker early before returning in the final over to remove Harry Tector and Liam McCarthy, capping a memorable first appearance in Indian colours.

His composed performance highlighted why he is regarded as one of India's exciting fast-bowling prospects.

Ireland Recover After Early Setbacks

Asked to bat first, Ireland started aggressively despite losing wickets at regular intervals.

India's comeback began in the 15th over when all-rounder Shivam Dube delivered a game-changing spell.

Dube dismissed Ben Calitz and Gareth Delany off successive deliveries, breaking Ireland's momentum and exposing the lower middle order.

Following a brief rain interruption, George Dockrell added a useful 19 runs, but India's bowlers maintained tight control during the death overs.

Prince Yadav then returned to finish the innings in style by removing the well-set Tector before dismissing Liam McCarthy in the final over.
