The highly anticipated US Masters T10 second season is almost here. Prior to that, though, the franchises have voiced their opinions and selected their teams with the ultimate objective of becoming the first to capture the trophy and delight North American fans.
Similar to its debut, the season is expected to include many exciting matches as well as the biggest hits as cricket's fastest and most entertaining format takes center stage. Top players include Aaron Finch, James Neesham, Mishab-ul-Haq, Aaron Bravo, Suresh Raina, Shoaib Malik, and Angelo Perera will compete for the title. More than 500 cricket players signed up for the Player Draft for Season 2 of the US Masters T10, with 60 seats available in the competition.
James Neesham (New Zealand: Icon), Lliam Plunkett (England: Platinum Grade), Colin de Grandhomme (New Zealand: Global Superstar), Shehan Jayasuriya (Sri Lanka), Bipul Sharma (India), and Lahiru Milantha (USA) were already registered before the California Bolts entered the Player Draft. Munaf Patel (India), Manpreet Gony (India), Samiullah Shinwari (Afghanistan), Jon-Russ Jaggesar (West Indies), Devendra Bishoo (West Indies), Chris Benjamin (South Africa), Mayank Tehlan (India), Hussain Talat (Pakistan), Kesrick Williams (West Indies), and Dhammika Prasad (Sri Lanka) were among the others they added.
The Detroit Falcons signed Thisara Perera (Sri Lanka: Icon), Rayad Emrit (West Indies), Dawid Malan (England), Abdur Razzak (Pakistan: Platinum Grade), and Angelo Perera (Sri Lanka) as direct acquisitions. These players signed up at the Player Draft: Lewis McManus (England), Imran Khan (Pakistan), Syed Rasel (Bangladesh), Enamul Haque Jr. (Bangladesh), Seekkuge Prasanna (Sri Lanka), Chaturanga De Silva (Sri Lanka), Ariful Haque (Bangladesh), and Denesh Ramdin (West Indies).
For their pre-draft singings, the Chicago Players included Gurkeerat Singh Mann (India), Anureet Singh (India), Parthiv Patel (India: Icon), Isuru Udana (Sri Lanka: Platinum Grade), Suresh Raina (India: Global Superstar), and Kennar Lewis (West Indies). Pawan Negi (India), Kevin O'Brien (Scotland), Ishwar Pandey (India), Jesse Ryder (New Zealand), William Perkins (West Indies), Shubham Ranjane (India), Jesal Kariya (India), Abhimanyu Mithun (India), Shapoor Zadran (Afghanistan), and Al-Amin Hossain (Bangladesh) were the next players the team added to their roster.
In their roster announcement prior to the draft, the New York Warriors included Misbah-ul-Haq (Pakistan: Icon), Shaun Marsh (Australia: Platinum Grade), Dwayne Bravo (West Indies: Global Superstar), Kamran Akmal (Pakistan), Sohail Khan (Pakistan), and Umaid Asif (Pakistan). Mohammad Hafeez (Pakistan), Richard Gleeson (England), Ben Dunk (England), Sohail Tanvir (Pakistan), Hassan Khan (Pakistan), Manoj Tiwary (India), Unmukt Chand (USA), Chris Wood (England), Sean Dickson (South Africa), and Imran Tahir (South Africa) were added by the Warriors to strengthen their lineup.
The following players were confirmed as direct signings by the Atlanta Riders: Mohammad Irfan (Pakistan), Hammad Azam (Pakistan), Shoaib Malik (Pakistan: Global Superstar), Nurul Hasan Sohan (Bangladesh: Icon), and Ravi Bopara (England: Platinum Grade). They selected West Indies native Ricardo Powell, West Indies native Kevon Cooper, Bangladeshi native Kamrul Islam Rabbi, Bangladeshi native Arafat Sunny, England native Benny Howell, Bangladeshi native Elias Sunny, Zimbabwean native Hamilton Masakadza, Indian Rajdeep Darbar, and Sri Lankan native Amila Aponso at the draft.
To start, the Morrisville Unity camp signed Obus Pienaar (South Africa), Saurabh Tiwary (India), Shannon Gabriel (West Indies), Ashley Nurse (Global Superstar), Chadwick Walton (West Indies: Platinum Grade), and Harbhajan Singh (India: Icon). Then, they added people like Jasakran Malhotra (USA), Yogesh Nagar (India), Jonathan Carter (West Indies), Upul Tharanga (Sri Lanka), Chandrapaul Hemraj (West Indies), Mukhtar Ahmed (Pakistan), Rumman Raees (Pakistan), Anwar Ali (Pakistan), Carmi Le Roux (South Africa), and Rajat Bhatia (India) to the draft.
The founder and chairman of T Ten Global Sports, Nawab Shaji Ul Mulk, stated, "We want to be a part of this special journey. Cricket in the US has been growing rapidly." We aim to maintain and expand on the tremendous influence that this year's ICC T20 World Cup had on the area. We want to give fans more exciting matches in Season 2 of the US Masters while also accelerating cricket's growth in an unconventional market like the USA.
