Shai Hope Anchors Comfortable Run Chase
Chasing 148, West Indies openers provided a solid start in the powerplay. Brandon King played an explosive innings of 37 runs off just 22 balls, smashing boundaries and sixes against the Sri Lankan bowlers.
West Indies captain Shai Hope then took full control of the chase with a classy unbeaten 65 runs from 54 balls. His calm and composed batting ensured there were no major problems during the chase.
Shimron Hetmyer entertained fans with a quickfire 17 off 9 balls, while Rovman Powell finished the match in style with an unbeaten cameo.
Wanindu Hasaranga Tries to Fight Back
