Rahul Dravid, Head Coach, Indian Cricket Team, addressed a press conference at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi ahead of the 1st T20I against South Africa.

“It's going to be important, it's a balance between I guess managing the workloads some of the players especially I think the ones who've really been part of all the three formats of the game for us over the last six months and you know continue to do that over the next six months, but having said that we have obviously rested a few of the players it's all part of the process we've done that in the past as well in the last few series as well we've you know we've probably not really played not played with everyone available and selected from everyone available because we've always you know sort of been managing thinking through that so yeah so that will continue for a little bit then hopefully closer to the T20 world cup you know we will be able to freeze in on and get everyone available so till then, I think it's going to be important to just manage people's  through what is a very busy calendar for the Indian people”

“Yeah of course it's really pleasing to have him back I mean there's no question about it I mean Hardik is a fantastic cricketer with both that we've just seen that for India in the past obviously you've been very successful and using white ball cricket and you've been shown some really good form and decide in this IPL as well, So to answer your first question of course very pleasing to have someone like that back some other quality that we can pick from and choose from for us without giving too much away obviously if we want to be telling out the batting orders before the game starts but I think in general sometimes the rules that you it's not only in relevance to Hardik sometimes the rules that you play with your franchise matches the roles that you play for India but sometimes you have to play slightly different roles for different teams right that can happen you play for your first class team in a particular role when you play for India you might bat in a slightly different position or both slightly different overs depending on the requirement of the team so the same thing here we think with all the players some of the roles that they played for their franchises might be slightly different to the rules that that we are expecting from them here based on obviously the team and our combination and the kind of team we have the players who are already established in certain positions”
