Rishabh Pant Press Conference ahead of IND vs SA T-20 series

Rishabh Pant, Captain, Indian Cricket Team, addressed a press conference at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi ahead of the 1st T20I against South Africa.

"I think it's a very good feeling didn't came under very good circumstances but at the same time I am feeling happy I would like to thanks BCCI for giving me this opportunity to lead the Indian side I’ll try to make most of it but first of all thank you to all my well-wishers throughout my journey for supporting me through my thick and thinks of a cricketing career but I would like to make this as a base and keep improving and keep making my life better and better each and every day"

"I think as a captain it will help me a lot because when you do keep on doing the same thing over a period of time you tend to improve so I’m someone who keep on learning from my mistake over and over and I think that is something which gonna help me in coming days also"

"As a team we have thought about certain goals which we want to achieve as a team and we are continuously working on them is at because at the end we are thinking of the world cup on our back of the head so we are preparing for that I think in coming days you'll see that there will be a lot of changes the way we play cricket I guess, In the last couple of days he was having an extended next session against all the frontline ingredients so could you throw some light on people what kind of role is the team manager see as of now we haven't discussed about that but we have discussed that as a team as a management will try to give as many opportunity to players that's the only thing we can do but with having a large squad it's difficult to give everyone the same amount of playing time we'll discuss as a team and we'll get to know sooner or later"

“We'll see the condition if we feel like we need a floating batting line-up then we'll take it forward I don't think so in this kind of condition we have we want a floating batting line-up because the kind of batting line-up we have I think left variety it's not a big deal for us because we play spinners over and they day in and day out so we'll try not to move a lot but at the same time if we need to we will, but at the same time not thinking about that too much just trying to make most of my opportunity”

“I haven't not thought about that too much I’ll take it up to my chain I’ll do whatever I can to give my best as a player and as a captain that's the only thing in my hand rest a result will follow that's it thank you”
