Sarfaraz Khan’s crucial knock of 150 in India’s second innings against New Zealand was a standout performance on Day 4 of the IDFC First Bank Test at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. His innings provided India a fighting chance after a poor start, recovering from a disastrous first-innings score of 46. Sarfaraz’s patience and aggressive strokeplay allowed India to post a much-improved 462 in their second innings.
